Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs. grnd chuck or possibly hamburger
  • 2 pound can red kidney beans
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 lg. green pepper
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 sm. can tomato sauce
  • Chili pwdr or possibly warm salsa to taste

Method

  • Brown meat with onion and pepper; drain.
  • Add in beans with juice, stewed tomatoes, soup, and tomato sauce.
  • Simmer on low heat till sauce thickens a little, 30 min or possibly so.
  • You may add in chili pwdr to taste, or possibly for really warm chili, add in warm salsa to taste.
  • It will not need much of this.
  • This chili is even better the next day, after all flavors have a chance to blend.
  • Makes a crock pot full.
