Ingredients

  • Sm. elbow macaroni
  • Mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Sweet lowfat milk
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  • Put two handsful of macaroni in saucepan.
  • Cover with water.
  • Add in a sprinkle of salt.
  • Cook till tender.
  • If any water is left in pan, pour off and put macaroni in casserole dish.
  • Cut up good mild cheddar cheese over macaroni till it looks right; maybe 1/4 lb.. Add in egg and sufficient sweet lowfat milk to barely cover.
  • Add in sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  • Stir together.
  • Place in moderate oven and cook till done.
  • I stir mine once during cooking to make sure it cooks in the center.
