Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup shredded wheat cereal, spoon size
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 12 cups raisins
  • 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, large
  • 14 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 14 cup chocolate chips, mini

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Lightly coat an 8 x 8 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Place oats, shredded wheat, walnuts, raisins, cinnamon and salt in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade; pulse until mixture resembles dries peas.
  • Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, honey, and vanilla until well blended.
  • Add oat mixture and chocolate chips; stir to combine.
  • Spread mixture evenly in prepared 8 x 8 pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 18 - 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Cool completely in pan before cutting.
