Ingredients
- 2 lb. stew meat
- 4 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 envelopes dry onion soup mix
- 2 c. water (may need to add more)
- 8 Tbsp. cornstarch
Method
- Brown meat in oil.
- Pour onion soup mix over meat.
- Add 1 cup water.
- Cover and cook 1 to 2 hours or until tender.
- Add water as needed.
- Thicken gravy with cornstarch mixed in 1/2 cup cold water.
- Good with noodles or mashed potatoes.
