Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. flour (plain)
- 1 c. shortening
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/4 c. warm water
Method
- Mix flour and salt.
- Add shortening, egg, vinegar and water. Stir with a fork until just moistened; knead slightly.
- Shape into balls.
- Do not overknead.
- Roll out to desired thickness.
- Makes 2 tops and 2 bottoms, if thin.
