Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 5 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup self-rising flour, sifted
  • 2/3 cup dried apricots, chopped
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease and line a 7x11 inch rimmed baking pan.
  • Heat butter, sugar and honey over low heat until sugar dissolves. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl, add butter mixture and mix until combined. Press mixture firmly into prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 mins, or until lightly browned. Let cool in pan then cut into squares.
