Ingredients

  • 2 boxes Samoas Girl Scout Cookies, 12 Ounce Boxes
  • 2 sticks Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1-1/2 cup Chocolate Chips

Method

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Crush the Samoas into small pieces (I put them onto a cookie sheet and used a mallet to crush them). Place Samoa pieces at the bottom of a foil lined 9x11 baking sheet (use one with a rim).
  • 2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil and stir for 3 minutes. Pour over the top of the cookie pieces.
  • 3. Put the tray into the preheated oven and bake for 8 minutes. The brown sugar mixture will caramelize and bubble. When done, remove from oven and sprinkle the top evenly with chocolate chips. Place in the refrigerator or freezer to harden.
  • 4. Once hard, break or cut into individual pieces.
