Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple in juice (undrained)
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Mix all ingredients except pineapple. Spread beef mixture evenly in ungreased loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inches.
- Bake, uncovered, 1 hour; drain.
- Spoon pineapple over meat loaf.
- Bake about 30 minutes longer or until no longer pink in center.
