Ingredients
- 6 medium carrots, thinly sliced (about 3 cups)
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 12 teaspoon ground ginger
Method
- 1.
- Heat 1" of water to boiling, add carrots.
- Heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat to medium and simmer 5 minutes.
- Drain and set aside.

- Cook brown sugar, butter and ginger in same saucepan over med heat, stirring constantly until bubbly.
- Stir in carrots.
- Cook 2-4 minutes over low heat, stirring now and then until carrots are glazed and hot.
