Ingredients
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 Pillsbury German chocolate cake mix
- 1 box powdered sugar
- Chocolate Frosting
Method
- Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Mix together coconut and pecans and spread over bottom of pan.
- Mix cake mix as directed on box.
- Pour over nuts and coconut.
- Mix together margarine, powdered sugar and cream cheese, beating until smooth.
- Drop by tablespoons on top of batter, but not too close to edge.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 325° (maybe longer).
- Ice with Chocolate Frosting.
