Ingredients
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 8 oz. cream cheese (leave out at room temperature)
- 1 pkg. powdered sugar
- 1 stick butter
Method
- Mix coconut and pecans together and pour into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Mix up cake according to directions on box and pour this over coconut and pecans.
- In saucepan, melt butter and cream cheese over medium heat and gradually add powdered sugar.
- Blend well.
- Pour this evenly over the rest of the cake mixture.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Do not overcook; will burn easily.
- Cool, cut and enjoy.
