Ingredients

  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1- box Duncan Hinds German Chocolate cake mix
  • 1- box powdered sugar
  • 2- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1- stick butter or margarine, melted

Method

  • Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2 in. pan or dish.
  • Sprinkle pecans and coconut over bottom.
  • Mix cake mix according to directions on package.
  • Pour batter over nuts and coconut.
  • Using mixer, cream cheese and melted butter.
  • Spread over top of unbaked cake batter.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes or until done.
