Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. fresh frozen coconut, thawed
  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix, mix according to instructions on box
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 box confectioners sugar

Method

  • Sprinkle chopped pecans over bottom of pan.
  • Sprinkle coconut over the nuts.
  • Pour cake mix (after mixed according to instructions) over coconut and nuts in pan.
  • Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over cake mix.
  • Cook in sheet cake pan at 350° for 35 minutes.
