Ingredients

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can Hershey's chocolate syrup
  • 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
  • 1 container Cool Whip
  • 1 pkg. frozen coconut

Method

  • Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Mix and bake cake as directed on package.
  • Punch holes in top of cake with a large fork.
  • Combine chocolate syrup and milk.
  • Pour over the cake, allowing it to soak into holes.
  • Cover and allow cake to cool in refrigerator overnight (or 4 hours).
  • Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle coconut on top.
  • Keep refrigerated.
