Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon of Chopped Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 Cup of Chopped Onions
  • 1 twelve ounce can of Tomato Sauce
  • 1/3 Cup of Fig Vinegar
  • 1/3 Cup of White Vinegar
  • 1/3 Cup Molasses
  • 1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of Yellow Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon of Cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons of Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon of Chili Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon of Cayenne Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Saute all of butter, olive oil, galic and onions in a sauce pan on Med-High heat until brown.
  • Add a little Salt and Pepper.
  • Mix all of the remaining ingredients together .
  • Add a little water if you want your sauce thinner.
  • Once the onions and garlic are nice and brown, pour the sauce into the sauce pan and simmer on low for one half hour.
  • Serve it over beef, chicken, ribs, and sausage.
