- 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon of Butter
- 1 Tablespoon of Chopped Garlic Cloves
- 1/2 Cup of Chopped Onions
- 1 twelve ounce can of Tomato Sauce
- 1/3 Cup of Fig Vinegar
- 1/3 Cup of White Vinegar
- 1/3 Cup Molasses
- 1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup of Yellow Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon of Cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons of Paprika
- 1 Tablespoon of Chili Powder
- 1 Teaspoon of Cayenne Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon of Cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Saute all of butter, olive oil, galic and onions in a sauce pan on Med-High heat until brown.
- Add a little Salt and Pepper.
- Mix all of the remaining ingredients together .
- Add a little water if you want your sauce thinner.
- Once the onions and garlic are nice and brown, pour the sauce into the sauce pan and simmer on low for one half hour.
- Serve it over beef, chicken, ribs, and sausage.
