Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced green beans (1 inch long)
  • 1 cup boiled garbanzo beans
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion (sliced long)
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • juice of half a lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Set your cooktop on medium-high heat. Take a skillet or a stir-fry pan and heat the oil.
  • Add the onions and saute. Add the green beans and saute until cooked but still crunchy. Add the garbanzo beans and the red pepper flakes. Stir for another 3-4 minutes. Add the salt and pepper and the lemon juice and stir. Take of heat and serve with rice.
