Ingredients
- 3 c. milk
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 c. cocoa
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- peanut butter
Method
- Combine milk, sugar, cocoa, butter, vanilla and salt.
- Bring to a boil at medium-high temperature for approximately 25 minutes, testing by drops of this mixture into a cold cup of water.
- When it forms a soft ball stage, remove from heat.
- Pour mixture into 2 (9 x 9 x 2-inch) buttered glass pans, stirring into each pan 1/2 cup peanut butter.
- Chill.
- Cut in squares.
- Store in refrigerator.
