- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. quick cooking rolled oats
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 c. Eagle Brand milk
- 2 tsp. margarine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cream 1 cup margarine and sugar.
- Mix in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda and 1 teaspoon salt; stir in rolled oats.
- Add dry ingredients to cream mixture.
- Set aside while you make filling.
