Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Method
- Beat sugar and butter together.
- Add eggs, mix well.
- Add flour, cocoa and salt.
- Stir in vanilla and nuts.
- Pour into greased 9-inch pie pan.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes in 350° oven. Serve with whipped cream and strawberries if desired.
- Yields 6 servings.
