Ingredients
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. walnuts
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1/2 c. coconut, shredded
Method
- Melt margarine.
- Add dates, sugar and egg.
- Cook on stove over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla, walnuts and Rice Krispies.
- Mix well.
- Shape into balls and roll in coconut.
- Cool on cookie sheet.
