- 1 lb. loose sausage (hot or mild)
- 2 medium fresh zucchini
- 3 fresh tomatoes
- 2 medium fresh green peppers
- 1/2 pkg. small frozen onions, thawed
- 1 (4 oz.) jar whole mushrooms
- 2 c. seasoned croutons
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Method
- Crumble and fry sausage lightly to remove grease.
- Drain and set aside.
- Cube zucchini. Cut peppers into squares after removing centers and seeds.
- Cook zucchini and peppers in salt water until crisp-tender, about 6 minutes.
- Drain.
