- 3 c. boiling water
- 12 fresh mint sprigs
- 4 regular size tea bags
- 1 c. sugar
- 5 c. cold water
- 1 c. orange juice
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- mint sprigs or orange wedges (garnishes)
Method
- Pour boiling water over 12 mint sprigs and tea bags.
- Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
- Remove and discard mint sprigs and tea bags, squeezing tea bags gently.
- Add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Stir in cold water, orange juice and lemon juice.
- Serve over ice. Garnish, if desired.
- Yields about 2 1/2 quarts.
