Ingredients

  • 3 c. boiling water
  • 12 fresh mint sprigs
  • 4 regular size tea bags
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 5 c. cold water
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • mint sprigs or orange wedges (garnishes)

Method

  • Pour boiling water over 12 mint sprigs and tea bags.
  • Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
  • Remove and discard mint sprigs and tea bags, squeezing tea bags gently.
  • Add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Stir in cold water, orange juice and lemon juice.
  • Serve over ice. Garnish, if desired.
  • Yields about 2 1/2 quarts.
