Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 4 cups flour
- 3/4 lb butter
- 6 1/2 cups pecans
- 1 lb white raisins
- 1 lb citron
- 1 lb cherries
- 1 lb pineapple
- 1/2 bag coconut
- 12 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 1 tbs vanilla
Method
- Break nuts, chop fruit, add coconut.
- Put flour over this gradually and mix well. Cream the butter and sugar, add vanilla and add to mixture.
- Add egg whites to mixture.
- Line pan with wax paper before putting mixture into pan.
- Bake in oven over pan of water at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
