Ingredients

  • small wheel of smoked Gouda cheese
  • refrigerated crescent rolls

Method

  • unroll crescents and layer them pointy end out in a circle to form a sun shape; with your thumbs, knead the dough toward the center to fill in the hole. Place the Gouda, unwrapped in the center, and one by one place the tips in the center of the cheese wheel to form a pouffy pastry. (Tips should be layered) Bake at 350 on cookie sheet until golden brown (approximately 15 min)
  • Slice in wedges and serve.
