- 1 lb. candied cherries
- 1 lb. candied pineapple
- 10 c. chopped nuts
- 3 sticks margarine
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Method
- Cream sugar and margarine.
- Mix well.
- Add eggs and 1/2 flour; mix well.
- Add other 1/2 of flour to fruit and nuts.
- Mix well. Add batter to fruit and nut mixture and mix well.
- Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet.
- Cook at 350° for 12 minutes or until done.
- Yields a large amount.
