Ingredients

  • 1 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 10 c. chopped nuts
  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Method

  • Cream sugar and margarine.
  • Mix well.
  • Add eggs and 1/2 flour; mix well.
  • Add other 1/2 of flour to fruit and nuts.
  • Mix well. Add batter to fruit and nut mixture and mix well.
  • Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet.
  • Cook at 350° for 12 minutes or until done.
  • Yields a large amount.
