Ingredients
- 2 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. flour
- 1/16 tsp. salt
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
Method
- Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Pour nuts in the bottom. Combine butter, brown sugar, vanilla, eggs, flour and salt.
- Spoon over nuts.
- Sprinkle candied fruits over top and press into top of batter.
- Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
- Cool before cutting.
