Ingredients

  • 2 lb. fresh, cut green beans
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • salt
  • pepper

Method

  • Place 1/2 pound of bacon in skillet on medium-high heat until grease covers bottom of skillet.
  • Remove bacon and cover.
  • Place 1 pound of green beans in skillet at same heat for about 35 minutes or until beans start to turn brown.
  • Cut strips of bacon in half. Place back in skillet; season with salt and pepper.
  • When bacon is done, the beans are done.
  • Repeat process for the remaining of the ingredients.
  • Makes enough for 2 to 4 people.
