Ingredients
- 2 lb. fresh, cut green beans
- 1 lb. bacon
- salt
- pepper
Method
- Place 1/2 pound of bacon in skillet on medium-high heat until grease covers bottom of skillet.
- Remove bacon and cover.
- Place 1 pound of green beans in skillet at same heat for about 35 minutes or until beans start to turn brown.
- Cut strips of bacon in half. Place back in skillet; season with salt and pepper.
- When bacon is done, the beans are done.
- Repeat process for the remaining of the ingredients.
- Makes enough for 2 to 4 people.
