Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. paprika

Method

  • Melt in a 9 x 13-inch pan in a 375° oven the vegetable oil and margarine.
  • In airtight bag, mix the flour, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic salt. Dip chicken in oil, then shake in bag (no more than 3 pieces at a time).
  • Place skin side down in a 9 x 13-inch pan with oil and melted margarine.
  • Bake 45 minutes. Turn over and bake 15 minutes longer.
  • (For crispier coating, cook longer.)
