Ingredients
- 1 lb. skinned and boned chicken breasts
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
- 2 pt. pasta sauce
- 1/4 c. grated Romano cheese
- 8 oz. fettuccine
Method
- Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces.
- Saute chicken in vegetable oil until meat turns white.
- Add mushrooms and basil, cook until mushrooms are tender.
- Add pasta sauce and simmer until heated through.
- Cook fettuccine according to directions.
- Top fettuccine with basil chicken sauce.
- Garnish with Romano cheese.
- Serves 4.
