Ingredients

  • 1 (6 or 7 oz.) pkg. vermicelli noodles
  • 1/3 c. unsalted butter
  • 1/2 c. chopped green onions
  • 1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
  • 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. coarsely ground pepper

Method

  • Cook vermicelli according to directions.
  • Drain well.
  • Set aside.
  • In same saucepan, melt butter.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients and vermicelli.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through (3 to 5 minutes).
  • Serve with green salad.
  • Great summer lunch.
  • Serves 6.
