- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 2 green onions, diced
- 1 c. freshly shredded lettuce
- 1 tsp. flour
- 3 Tbsp. water or chicken broth
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, cooked
- 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
- freshly ground black pepper
Method
- In a saucepan, cook the green onions and lettuce in oil over low heat for 5 minutes. Combine flour with water or broth. Add to lettuce mixture and stir until thickened.
- Put in the cooked peas, sliced water chestnuts and seasonings.
- Heat through and serve.
