Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- maraschino cherries (drained)
Method
- Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Blend in vanilla.
- Add flour and salt to creamed mixture alternately with milk beating well after each addition.
- For each cookie, shape dough around a cherry to form a ball.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 350° 12 - 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
- Dip cookie tops in glaze.
- Makes 2 dozen.
