Ingredients
- 1 lb. lamb, cubed
- 1 lb. beef, cubed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 8 c. boiling water
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 5 medium carrots, halved
- 6 medium potatoes, quartered
- 1 bay leaf
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- In a large saucepan, brown meat and onion in oil.
- Add boiling water and tomato sauce to meat and simmer 1 hour.
- Add carrots, potatoes, bay leaf, salt and pepper.
- Cook until carrots and potatoes are done.
