Ingredients
- 8 c. fresh pickles
- 1 c. green and red peppers, chopped
- 1 c. onions, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Method
- Slice pickles very thin.
- Mix pickles with peppers, onions and salt and let stand for 1 hour.
- Drain.
- Stir together sugar, celery seed, vinegar and mustard seed until sugar is dissolved. Pour over pickles and place in freezer containers.
- Freeze.
- If refrigerated, pickles will keep 2 to 3 weeks.
