Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs

Method

  • Sift together flour and yeast.
  • Heat milk, oil, water, sugar and salt until warm.
  • Using electric mixer, add liquid to dry ingredients.
  • Add eggs.
  • Blend with mixer until smooth, about 1 minute.
  • Pour into three well-greased one pound coffee cans. Cover with lids and let rise to 1/2-inch from top of cans.
  • Remove lids and bake 30 minutes in a 375° oven.
  • Cool 15 minutes before removing from cans.
  • Freezes well.
