Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lb. beef pot roast
- salt and pepper
- 1 can condensed mushroom soup
Method
- Place roast on large square of double-thick, heavy-duty foil. Lightly oil inner cooking square.
- Season with salt and pepper and cover with soup.
- Seal package and place on medium hot coals for about 3 hours.
- Turn every 30 minutes.
- After 2 hours of cooking, open package and check for doneness.
- Rewrap and continue cooking until meat is tender.
- Serves 6 to 8.
