Ingredients
- 200 grams Raw shucked oysters (meant to be cooked, not eaten raw)
- 1 tbsp Miso
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Mirin
Method
- Mix the ingredients together.
- I used large raw oysters but you can also use cooking oysters.
- Make two boat shaped cups out of the aluminium foil.
- Wash the shucked oysters well.
- Drop them quickly in boiling water with small amount of sake added (about 10 seconds).
- Take them out immediately and dry well with paper towels.
- Place the oysters in the foil boats and pour the combined ingredients over them.
- Bake in a toaster oven until golden brown for about 12-15 minutes.
- Optionally top with somee chopped green onion and/or serve with lemon.
- You can also cook the oysters with your favorite vegetable - delicious.
