Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 well beaten eggs
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. coconut flavoring
  • 1 tsp. rum flavoring
  • 1 tsp. butter flavoring
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Method

  • Cream butter, sugar and shortening until fluffy and light. Add eggs.
  • Combine flour and baking powder.
  • Add to cream mixture, alternating with milk.
  • Stir in flavorings.
  • Spoon mixture into greased 10-inch tube pan and bake 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
  • Add glaze to cake and cool before turning out.
