Ingredients
- 6 c. figs
- 3 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. water
Method
- Wash figs in warm soda water and rinse well.
- Cut ends off or peel, if preferred.
- Put water and sugar on to boil about 10 minutes.
- Put figs in and cook until syrupy, about 2 hours.
- Put in jars and seal.
