Ingredients
- 12 oz. fettucine
- 3 c. loosely packed fresh basil leaves
- 2/3 c. grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper
Method
- Cook pasta according to directions.
- Drain.
- In a food processor or blender, process remaining ingredients until well blended.
- (Sauce thins out on hot pasta.)
- Toss pasta with sauce until well coated. Serves 4 to 6 people.
