Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (250 g) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup mashed fully ripe bananas (about 3)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2-1/4 cups flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Method

  • Heat oven to 350F.
  • Beat cream cheese, butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended.
  • Add bananas and eggs; mix well.
  • Add combined dry ingredients; mix just until moistened.
  • Stir in nuts.
  • Pour into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Bake 1 hour 10 min.
  • or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
  • Cool 5 min.
  • ; remove from pan to wire rack.
  • Cool completely before slicing to serve.
