Ingredients
- 1/2 c. melted margarine or butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 1 1/4 c. pecan halves
Method
- Combine butter, sugar and syrup.
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves; let cool slightly.
- Add eggs, vanilla and salt to mixture; mix well.
- Pour filling into pie shell; top with pecans.
- Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes.
- Extra good.
