Ingredients
- 2 cups hot water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 (1/4 ounce) packages dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method
- Put 2 cups hot water in a large bowl, add 2 T sugar, add 2 pkgs dry yeast, let it set and it will dissolve.
- Add 2 T oil, add flour and salt and mix until it forms a ball and knead it 15 minutes.
- Put a big pan of hot water in the stove.
- and place bowl of dough on top.
- It will rise to double within 45 minutes.
- Put Crisco in pan to grease and divide dough and spread it to edge.
- The directions then say 400 degrees - 15 - bottom shelf 15-top shelf.
- I'm not sure if that means a full 30 minute cooking time.
