Ingredients

  • 2 c. elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green beans
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 c. (12 oz.) shredded Colby cheese
  • 1 can French fried onions

Method

  • Cook macaroni and green beans each according to package directions.
  • Drain.
  • Brown ground beef.
  • Drain.
  • Mix together. Stir in soup and 2 cups of the cheese.
  • Pour half the mixture into a greased casserole.
  • Sprinkle with 1/2 can onions.
  • Top with remaining macaroni mixture and one cup cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
  • Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer.
