Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 (4 ounce) packageof dry frosting
  • 12 cup chopped nuts
  • 12 cup candied cherry (halved )

Method

  • Butter a loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3. on a double bolier, melt butter in the milk.
  • Stir in frosting mix ( dry ) until smooth.
  • Heat over rapidly boiling water for 5 minutes.
  • stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in nuts and cherries.
  • Spread mixture evenly in pan.
  • Let stand until firm.
  • Cut into 1 inch suares.
