Ingredients
- 4 cup cranberries (frozen ok)
- 1 cup seedless raisins
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger (or fresh)
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup water
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 medium apple peeled cored and diced
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
Method
- In a large sauce pan combine cranberries, raisins, sugar, ginger, cloves, cinnamon and water.
- Cook over med heat for 15 minutes.
- Add the onion, apple and celery.
- Cook for another 15 minutes.
- Cool and refridgerate.
- It can also be canned or frozen for later use.
- It makes 4 cups.
