Ingredients
- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 carrot
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
Method
- Chop cabbage and carrot.
- Soak both in ice water to which the salt was added.
- Boil sugar, vinegar and water for 1 minute.
- Drain cabbage.
- Add the syrup.
- Place in refrigerator.
- Keeps for days.
