Ingredients
- 1 doz. eggs
- 4 1/2 c. milk
- 4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried mustard
- 3 lb. mild sausage, browned and drained
- 16 slices bread, crusted, cubed and dried
- 1 c. milk
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
Method
- Beat eggs; add milk, then dried mustard.
- Add sausage, bread, cheese and put in large casserole dish.
- Let set in refrigerator all night.
- Before baking the next morning, add the 1 cup milk and cream of mushroom soup.
- Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
- Serves 20.
