Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 c.)
- 1 pkg. Hamburger Helper mix for beef romanoff
- 5 to 6 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables or 2 c. cooked vegetables
Method
- Cook ground beef and onion in 4-quart Dutch oven, stirring frequently, until beef is brown; drain.
- Stir in sauce mix, water, salt, pepper, mustard and tomatoes; break up tomatoes.
- Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in noodles and vegetables. Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer 10 minutes longer. Makes 6 servings.
