Ingredients

  • 2 fresh garden tomatoes
  • 1/2 pound fresh soft Mozzarella cheese
  • Sm. bunch fresh, tender basil leaves
  • Thinly sliced ham, prosciutto, beef
  • Rings of sweet red onion
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped

Method

  • Slice tomato and Mozzarella into rounds.
  • Lay a slice of tomato on each salad plate.
  • Overlap with a slice of meat.
  • Add in Mozzarella on top of meat.
  • Repeat each once more.
  • Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and garlic.
  • Place a ring of onion and sprig of basil on top.
